The third Sensor Node consists of a weatherproof box attached to the side of a garden seat. Within the housing there is a WeatherDuino transmitter (TX2), a 12 volt 7Ah sealed lead acid battery and a solar panel regulator. A 50 W solar panel is connected to the Sensor Node to provide power for both TX2 and TX1. This node supports several environmental sensors attached to a WeatherDuino soil-leaf interface located in a small weatherproof housing near the greenhouse in the main site photo.
