The site is towards the top of a west-facing slope between two low hills, Watton Hill and Coneygar Hill. The weather station has two transmitter boxes, one fixed to a structure in the garden and the other fixed to the side of the house. Sensors of various types are attached to these transmitters and data are sent wirelessly to a receiver within the house. A Raspberry Pi computer adjacent to the receiver is on 24\/7 to process the data further and upload data to the internet.
